Robert Morris
« on: Tuesday 10 April 07 15:27 BST (UK) »
On the 1901 census for Gelligaer, Robert Morris, age 38 was residing at 3 The Villas, Brithdir and listed as Physician and Surgeon.  His birthplace was recorded as Rosscashery, Cork, Ireland.  In the same household was Mary Mitchell, widow and listed as housekeeper.

Where was he in 1891?  Can anyone help

Sorry I have no other info other than he is listed as M, but his wife and family, if any, were not registered on the census.  There were two children with surname of Mitchell and two other children (first name only) all listed as boarders, possibly the children of Mary Mitchell the housekeeper.

The only other Robert Morris b. Ireland I could see was in the 1871 census aged 9 , a boarder in Hawarden school with a possible brother Edward aged 11 RG10/3734 folio 26 pg 24.
