Census Lookup Whitechapel / Mile End New Town

Hi,

i wonder if someone could help.. I am currently trying to track down a family in the Whitechapel / Stepney area that seems to flit between 2 properties from Birth Certificates I have.

The surname of the family is WIGHTWICK, however, it is possible one of the properties is occupied by a family with surname GRAY.

The addresses are:

King Edward Street, Whitechapel


and

5, East Street, Globefields, Stepney (East Street does now not exist - it changed its name to Moss Street before being pulled down). It used to be one of the roads on the east side of Smart Street - still present in Stepney /Mile End today.)

If someone could please look these addresses up for me in the 1841 / 1851 / 61 census I would be most grateful.

I looked at a surname index for 1851 Bethnal green and Whitechapel and could find nothing like Wightwick

I found a Witwick family at HO 107/1549 folio 180
This is 1851 St George in the East

It is best if you can give us some first names and approximate ages next time.

as for ages, well I think they would be around 35-40 years old, however, the GRAY family may well be older. If it was possible to find something for the GRAY family on either road, that would be great too..
