Indentification of SCHOOL PHOTO.

Can anyone identify this school photograph please?
It would have been taken around Rochdale. Probably about 1875+-
One of the girls is quite likely a GREAVES.

Mavis,
The wizards under the photo restoration area of the site may be able to improve the clarity for you and read what is written on the blackboard.
They do tend to work miracles. They may need you to rescan the image at 600 dpi.

I've meesed around with the pic but am unable to get much.

just select about 600 dpi (dots per inch) that should help

There is nothing more you can do perhaps one of the other restorers can help and you did clearly say it was by way of email, I'm getting daft in my old age

If you click on the photo you can save it  in my pictures.do what you can with it then print it .Then you can scan it and repost it.Thats what i do ,only simple like putting a photo the right way up though
