I am  looking for my gr. gr. Grandmother,
 Eugenia  Alder,   I have found one by that name but  don,t know if it is  the right  one,  born  1829  and married   Thomas Thompson,  I cannot find him either

The address I found on Eugenia  was
Minchinhampton,   Glouster,

Can you tell me where that is,  is it near London,
because when my grandmother was born to them, they were living in Islington,   London

I would appreciate any help you can give  me

Gloucestershire is not close to London.

Luckily for you, there is an unusual name in the family, and for once they have been indexed well. I think that these may be yours. Does your gandmother appear within the family listed here?

Hi Pauline,
                 Thank you so much for doing that lookup,
if it is 1871   you looked up my grandmother would have been 13 yrs old and was working in a house in London
then, so she would not have been on it  at that time,
But it really does sound like they are mine,   I don't think their  could be many Eugenia Alder married to Thomas Thompson,   do you think  that sounds correct.
