Thank you
I just found a marriage for William and Ann; 1837 Hinderwell and her surname was Theaker.
Their daughter Eliza also has Theaker as a middle name
It all ties in
Thank you

Sorry, forgot to put on the 1851 that Ann E surname was SEYMOUR not THEAKER.

This is what I have managed to find in 1841 for you.

Lydia SEYMOUR :-

1841 Census England Yorkshire Hinderwell
HO107/1255/17/25
Church Street

THEAKER
Isaac 50 Fisherman Yes
Ann 45 YEs
John 15 Yes
Dinah 14 Yes
Isaac 9 Yes
Lydia SEYMOUR 3 Yes

I think that this is right :-

1841 Census England Yorkshire Hinderwell
HO107/1255/23/36
Main Street

SEYMOUR
William 20 Shoe Maker Yes
Ann 20 Yes
Mary 1 Yes

On the opposite page was :-

SEYMOUR
John 45 Shoe Maker Yes
Lydia 45 Yes
Ann 13 Yes

I think Mary married a William Guy in 1860

1861 Census England Yorkshire Hinderwell
RG9/3650/41/9
Port Mulgrave
SEYMOUR
William Head marr 42 Iron Stone Labourer Yorkshire Staithes
Ann Wife Marr 46 Yorkshire Staithes
Lydia Dau Unmarr 22 Yorkshire Staithes
Isaac Son Unmarr 10 Scholar Yorkshire Staithes
Dina Dau Unmarr 8 Scholar Yorkshire Staithes
Sarah J Dau Unmarr 6 Scholar Yorkshire Staithes
Liza Dau Unmarr 4 Scholar Yorkshire Rosdale
Ellen Dau Unmarr 10mths Yorkshire Rosdale

I am not sure about this one though, as William has moved and has a new? wife.

1871 Census England Yorkshire Hutton Lowcross
RG10/4857/140/11
Thomas Town

SEYMOUR
William Head Marr 52 Jet Miner Yorkshire Staithes
Margaret Wife Marr 42 Yorkshire Ayton
Robert LONGBY/ LONGLEY /LOUGHBY Son Unmarr 9 Yorkshire Middlebro
William LONGBY /LONGLEY/LOUGHBY  Son Unmarr 8 Yorkshire Carlton
Alice SEYMOUR Dau Unmarr 1 Yorkshire Cadhill

This was the closest match for William using birth year and place

Yes John the Grandson was listed as a SEYMOUR

1861 Census England Yorkshire Redcar
RG9/3652/56/7
Guy's Yard

GUY
William Head Marr 27 Pilot Yorkshire Redcar
Mary Wife Marr 21 Yorkshire Staithes
John Son Unmarr 6 Scholar Yorkshire Redcar
Mary A Dau Unmarr Schoalr Yorkshire Redcar

Looks like Mary was a second wife, if they married in 1860, and John was the son of the first wife.

Did I miss anyone??

Cheers
