Dear Gemma

I would imagine it would be the Bolton News (formerly the Bolton Evening News. There is a website for the paper at www.theboltonnews.co.uk.

They do a great Looking Back feature where they publish old photos and articles.

Best wishes

Dear Gemma

Farnworth is a district of Bolton and the Bolton News has been the paper for the town of Bolton since 1867.

If you contact the Bolton News they will search the archive for you.

Best wishes
