Help Finding marriage

Hi ,i am new to this area of roots chat,my normal area is norfolk,so please bere with me.I have just started looking for my partners family from southampton,in particular i am looking for a marriage of kenneth kite and edith howe,i do not have any other info other then their children were born in southampton in around 1944 ,any help would be great,

you can search the Complete Marriage Index (GRO Registers) on Ancestry - start at the year after oldest childs birth and work backwards looking for a Kenneth Kite marrying a Howe - name isnt too common, so hopefully not too long a search..

Hi Jo,

I'm also looking for a Kenneth Kite, in my case born 1912 in Southampton.  It seems a fairly unusual name.  Is this the same as yours?
