Can anyone help with the service record of this fellow:
Gunner J H Newall, 102237, R.A., Victory Medal and War Medal.
He also got the South Africa Medal (with 'Cape Colony', 'Orange Free State', 'Transvaal', and S Africa 1901' bars) as 26329 Pte Imp Yeo.
Looks like he changed regiments?!

he certainly did, he was with the Imperial yeomanry in SA and went in to the artillery for the great war

26329 Private Joseph Newall, 34th Company, 11th Battalion, Imperial Yeomanry.

IY papers are also at Kew and give much the same info as Regular Army papers.
