Marriage of Robert Carrington

Searching for the marriage of Robert Carrington (b 1783 Prenton) to Mary (b ~1787 Oxton). Have found 8 children the first born in 1812 in Barnston, the rest in Prenton.

Possibly a Mary Bird as I have searched through the baptism records for 'Mary's' born in Oxton at that time! Can't find a marriage though.

What was the name of the first child born 1812? it usualy gives the mothers name.

Hi Celia,

Peggy is their first child however I have been through the baptism records at the Chester Records office and no mothers maiden name was given for any of the children.

I know its a long way from 1783/7 to the 1881 census
But is it possible that The Robert Carrington age 19 born oxton & Elizabeth Carrington 17 born oxton are related.
They are in-laws to Alfred Jas Gaskell 26 Married to Mary gaskell/carrington.
