Dutch Family Van Hooton or similar in Beds?
« on: Friday 03 December 04 17:42 GMT (UK) »
A friend has mentioned her family believe they arrived in UK from Holland and established themselves in Bedfordshire.

Their name was van Hooton or similar. There is a famous Dutch family called van Hoeten!

She thinks they arrived during the 19th Century.

The surname has been modified over the years to a more English version.

Can anyone throw anynlight on this Dutch/English family?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
