CRABB Family - Bishop's Stortford
« on: Tuesday 08 May 07 18:36 BST (UK) »
I have John Crabb married to Mary (Ireland???)

Think they could have come from Dorset

Children
Benjamin
Elizabeth
John  can change to Jonathan
Martha
Mary Ann

I have found them on 1841/1851 then I have Benjamin with Hannah his wife later ,and all his links to the present.

Trying to find the rest of the family please and what happened to them, there could be more children not on the 1841 census.

Any information would be greatfully received

Thank you

Steve

Hi,
Have you checked out the parish registers of St James at Thorley, Bishops Stortford. These can be found at www.stjamesthorley.org
Go to 'Links', then 'The Friends of St James', then 'Parish Registers'

There's an initial listing of Baptisms (up to 1941) and Marriages (up to 1945), which show quite a few 'Crabb's. I don't know if any of them will be yours but thought the link might be of use to you.
Hope that helps
Stenson, anywhere any dates
