Crown Inn, Abergavenny

Can anyone tell me anything about the Crown Inn, Cross Street, Abergavenny.  My mother was born there in 1920 and sometime after that date it was destroyed by fire.  Any info appreciated
anything and everything to do with the village of Brithdir, near New Tredegar in Gwent.
