I am looking for Harriet Murrell or Morrell, born in Wexford around 1886,I know that she was illegitimate and left Ireland in the early 1900,s.She married in Edingborough and then emigrated to Montreal Canada,I would be really grateful if anyone can help as I have hit a brick wall. Regards Bethan

Hi,

The Wexford census 1891 was destroyed. The 1901 census survives. Would you know where she was then? It is available at the National Archives in Dublin and on film at your local family history centre.

Why not search for her birth in the indexes? These are available at the Dublin GRO and on film at your local family history centre.

There are some Wexford links on my website that may help.
Where is Edingborough?

Regards

Kate
