Parish Church Northfleet

I have a copy of marriage cert for 1855 which shows marriage solemnized at the Parish Church in the Parish of Northfleet in the County of Kent.
Which church would this be?
Banns were also posted and I'm wondering if these can be traced?
Help greatly appreciated- thankyou!

Hi Leah,

The original and ancient parish church was St Botolph, with St Mark's at Rosherville being built in 1853, and All Saints at Perry Street from 1868. There are registers of banns from St Botolph's, held in the Medway Archives, but I cannot see any that cover the period in which you're interested. Try searching their online database, from the homepage.

Thanks for the reply. I shall have to spend some time working my way through the Cityark site - there seems to be a lot of data there. It's a good start though.

Well I did eventually get around to going through all the indexes for St. Botolph's and managed to find a copy of the marriage cert so I know for sure that I have the right church. However it appears the banns for that particular year have never been available according to an email I got back from Medway
