« on: Saturday 12 May 07 15:00 BST (UK) »
Elizabeth PRICE married Joseph WATKINS father William WATKINS on  25/8/1838 father James PRICE.

Can anybody help me findout if Elizabeth died soon after as our Jos remarried in 1849 to Harriett WINWOOD in Colwall

All contributions greatfully recieved.

Mike

Ps our Jos stole some sheep and was deported 1851!

Hi Victor

Was he deported or transported?

meanwhile - is this your family with the twins in 1841 - if so Elizabeth was still alive then.

There are 3 possibles reg in Leominster on free bmd

1. March 1846  26 - 162

2. June 1846 26 - 148

3. Mar 1848  26 - 204

Dont know how you can narrow it down though ??? My quess it would be the last one, just right for remarriage the year after.  :-\

Probably can forget my census - that Joseph and Elizabeth still seem to be together in 1851

Your Joseph would only have been 16 in 1838.
