1841 Census lookup please Tillingham-or Rochford WALLER
« on: Thursday 17 May 07 03:16 BST (UK) »
Greetings! and thank you ...

we are  searching for  Hannah WALLER    bc 1774 Rochford,  buried there  too we  think...

The ERO has a document of "removal" of Hannah WALLER in 1828 from Burnham  to Tillingham -
widow with her daughters  all christened at Burnham
Sarah Richmond  chris. 1811
Lydia  Richmond  chris   1817  and
Fanny  Richmond 1820
We are interested in finding out what happened to her when her husband died. We think she married William RICHMOND   in 1808  - no proof . He died 1828.Burnham. Essex.

We would be most thankful if you can find more about this poor woman! and her children.,

Chris

[There is a strong connection to Maldon as Sarah Richmond b 1810/ ch 1811 Burnham  lived there a long time as Mrs James MASON, we got all the census records of her when living  there 1841-61 and family legal papers she was still there in 1866.]

Hi Kath,
Many thanks indeed!

What a lot you have found out so fast, amazing. :)

Well it looks like  I will need to get that certificate of death of Hannah Richmond to see her age and any other clues.

Very likely as if  it is the right one there would be one sister-in- law  Fanny Richmond,  and  one daughter, Sarah MASON  and 2 grandchildren in Maldon.

I think  that Fanny Richmond also looks like  her daughter too - that is great thank you.

Chris
