Burials Bridlington Priory
« on: Tuesday 22 May 07 22:08 BST (UK) »
Can anyone please supply any details of this burial, which may be linked to my family?
John Robinson son of Mr Thomas Robinson of Hilderthorpe buried November 8th aged 48. John would have been born c1760 is there a baptism at the Priory?
Thanks

So, I'm confused, you've got the date of the burial but not the year?

Was the burial in 1808?

Sorry I cannot help you with the burial but the following information may be of interest to you:
I have in my tree numerous Robinsons, born in the coastal areas of Scarborough - Ebberston - East and West Ayton - Ruston - Pickering - Allerston.  One branch moved to Wakefield and then to Leeds Yorkshire.  Another branch moved to Durham.  If this is of any interest to you I will supply further information.  Maeve
Yorkshire - Herbert - Phelps - Brain - Baxter - Crowther - Gillen - Rhodes - Ambler - Norton - Robinson - Gloucestershire - Herbert - Phelps - Brain
Suffolk - Clarke

I checked the Bridlington Priory parish records at the Records Office today, but I'm afraid there's no sign of a baptism for John Robinson around 1760.
