George Treagle Cow-Keeper New Brentford 1820's
« on: Wednesday 23 May 07 22:39 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Does anyone have any information about George Treagle who was a Cow-Keeper in New Brentford, Middlesex in the 1820's?  George had a son, also George who was often in trouble with the law and ended up stabbing someone and sentenced to death, later commuted to transportation to Australia in 1835.  George Senior left a will which was proved in 1822 which mentions his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Treagle and his Brother Joseph and six sisters Elizabeth, Alice, Jane, Joannah, Mary and Sarah.  He also mentions that he wished to be buried in the parish of Woodyate in Pentridge, Dorset which could be a clue as to where George Senior came from.

I have come to a dead end finding anything more out about George Senior, his family, siblings and ancestors.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
