Moore family were "in" Stowell Street. One of my fav streets of Newcastle... it is Chinatown.
Stowell St today runns from St Andrew's St ( adjacent to St Andrew's Church.. " The Oldest Church in this town" states it's notice board.) to Bath Lane.
In those days Stowell Street had, typical of many Newcastle streets, several back alleys/entries/courts or whatever, running off it.
The Moore's were down a court at number 7, which was off where number one Stowell Street.
I think enumerator after starting off on page one with Stowell Street, wrote ...
" 7 No 1 Court"
All these back alleys now demolished.

Moore's at 8 Pacey's Buildings, in Back Lane.
This was fairly close to where they were on C1891.
I am not familiar with this particular " Back Lane" but from the enumerator's description of the census district, the addresses before and after the Moores, and a map, the Moores were in an triangular area enclosed by the back of the southern side of Gallowgate and the northern side of Bath Lane ( close to Newcastle Brewery and where the National Express Coach Station was)
