Who was looking for Sarah Whitworth ?
« on: Monday 06 December 04 17:53 GMT (UK) »
I offered to do a look up for a marriage on 13th June 1813 in Birstall Parish Church....

Sarah Whitworth of Robertown married Joseph HATFIELD of Heckmondwike.

It was 'by banns' and witnesses were Benjamin Beaumont & Joseph Shaw

Ref D5/31     Joseph Hatfield signed his X mark...the others signed their names.

There was another marriage between - Squire Whitworth of Dewsbury to Hannah Holdsworth of Heckmondwike - by licence - on 24th October, 1814 With Witnesses - John Nussey ****? unreadable maybe Dent ? and Joseph *****> again unreadable could be Shales or Shaler ?

Hope this gets to you !
