In 1901 the family have moved further up the Rhondda Fawr, living at 1 Fernhill Houses, Treherbert.

George, 16, coal hewer,
Charles, 12,
plus extra siblings:
Margaret A, 9
Willie, 7
Lizzie, 5
James, 3
and a visitor, John Rossiter, 20, coal hewer.

All the children (and John Rossiter) are now listed as born Fernhill, Glamorgan.

The 1891 Census address is actually in Middle Hamlet, which is somewhere around modern-day Pentre.

I've looked in the 1881 Census for William (the father) but can only find him working away from home before he was married.

I need to link him up with his parents in my database so is it possible to check the 1871 Census please to find him with his parent and siblings. TIA.

Emma, 2
Richard, 6 mns
Both parents and all children are b St Florence.
Also living with them are Martha's parents:
Richard James, 66, ag lab, b Cosheston
and Elizabeth James, 84 (quite an age gap), b Jeffreyston.
