They are 2 separate entries,  your earlier posting is folio 14, page 20
the one I found was folio 6, page 4

There appears then to be 2 William Bonser families in Bedworth:

i) William (aged 20) and Elizabeth with children Sarah and Thomas

ii) William (aged 25) and Sarah with Child Thomas (no mention of a Elizabeth!)

.....this is referring to the 1841 census and the 2nd one fits in with your 1851 posting Geoff.

Hi Geoff and Graham,  :)

Thanks for all of your help  ;D ;D - it is all very confusing as there are 2 Bonsor families with similar names and ages living in the same tiny area, they are probably related somehow, so both sets of information are fascinating and very useful!

Many thanks for your help!!  ;D ;D

Re: 1841/51/71 census lookup please - William Bonsor

Hi - I suspect this may be an old post of yours (2007?), but I thought I would reply to see if you were still active in your research.

The William Bonsor you mention is my Great great great grandfather and I have been delving into his past for some time. He seems a very elusive person in as much as I have not yet managed to positively identify him (birth/baptism date, parents names or his marriage date to Sarah - maiden name unknown as well)!

There are a number of ‘suggestions’ on Ancestry as well as a few Family Trees that include him but I have yet to see any real proof that they are correct.

Did you manage to get any further in your research for him - I can track his son Thomas and his family through the late 1800s and to Nottingham where they moved in search of work in the Nottingham coalfields as theirs started closing down.

If you would like any more details or if you can shed any ‘light’ on the William, please let me know.

Thanks…..David Bonser
