Jackie,

You could try www.dublinheritage.ie

They have extracts of BMD records for Dublin, you may be lucky.

There is no complete census extant for Dublin prior to 1901 apart from an index to heads of households from the 1851.

You might be able to find some info on Kerisford Road from a directory such as Thoms. Dublin City Libraries in Pearse Street has a complete set.

Hiya Jackie,

I've just googled for Dublin LookUps and found a guy named Brian who is a Certs 'n' Searches Volunteer.
He says "PLEASE NOTE......While lookups from anything listed on this website are free within reason I may quote a fee if the research you require involves visiting any of the various genealogical archives in Dublin, especially those that charge "search fees" such as the GRO for civil birth marriage and death records. Advice costs absolutely nothing and is gladly given without the slightest obligation on your part to hire me."

Hi Christopher,

Could you give me the email address for the Certs n Searches Volunteer you mention on this page?  I have clicked to email him but cannot get through (something to do with not having a .Mac account).  The email address is not on the page.

Thanks,
Eagleye

I think 'Kerisford Road' is probably Carysfort Road.

I've got the same problem.

I clicked on the email address and it goes to my own Yahoo account. I can't see any email address.

Brian's email is irishrecordfinder[a.t.]yahoo.com according to the source code on that page.

Thanks Dublin1850, I should have thought of checking the source myself!  Have emailed him as a last resort for NLI lookup.
