Which registers would I need to look at to find this birth:
James Astley, born Billington abt 1789

Died 07/02/1869 aged 80years in Preston
I have this certificate....

James Astley (Widower) Married Ellen Wilkinson (Spinster)  06/09/1819
Would love to know James' first wife, any ideas?

Daughter Mary Astley b: abt 1829
Any ideas tracing this one.
