Medal Cards

I've read the info page on National Archives and am still a bit confused.
1. Under "Remakes" I've got "K.1880" like a lot of others have. I know that my relative came home from WW1 (otherwise I wouldn't be here)
2. My relative was from Birmingham yet the corp has "Bedford R" and "Essex" - does this mean this isn't my relative?
3. Under "Victory" and "Bedford R" I've got a "+" (plus) symbol with 4 dots - does this mean anything?
Many thanks.

Ooops yes, sorry, my mistake!
That medal card is for my grandfather, Celestine. The card which I thought was for him was actually the wrong one (that contained the weird plus symbol)
