census lookup 1891 and 1901

I would be grateful if someone could look up the 1891 and 1901 census records for a Robert Hannah, who was born in Bothkennar in 1848. 

I believe that he married a Jessie and had the following children:

Thank you very much for this info.  I did not know that this branch of the family had moved to Lesmahgow.  This has helped fill in a few blanks for me.

I am also trying to trace Robert's younger brother John, who was born in 1853 in Bothkennar.  He was last heard of at Laurel Bank, Grangemouth in 1890 when he signed his mother's death cert.

I believe that John married a Jean Mathieson and that they had at least 2 children - Robert and Isobel.

If anyone is able to find Robert in the 1881, 1891 & 1901 census I would be grateful for any info that can be provided.

This is the Jane from 1891, but no sign of John..or an Isabell. You would have to look at original to see if Jane was a widow

Hi Susan

I think this must be him.  I believe that he founded a company called Hannah & Co., Grangemouth.  Until now I was unsure what this company traded in but from the census it would appear to be a stationers.

My uncle Tommy used to live in a big old house in Bo'ness Road, Grangemouth.  John would have been his grand uncle.

Isobel died as a child, which explains why she does not appear in the census records.

I will search for John's death to find out what became of him.
