Photo Dating

Hi Folks

Any chance of putting an approx date on this Photo for me please, and what age would you say the man was?.

It is two & half inches by four inches.

The actual photo seems very thin and stuck onto a smooth gloss card, you can feel the edge between photo and card.

On the 4 corners on the back is what I can only describe as red seal wax.

I have been given a few old family photos, most dont not have any names on them  this being one of them.

1860s for sure.  Probably mid 60s 
It's a carte de visite, the common format from that time.  Maybe someone used sealing wax to stick the card into an album?  It looks like it was in an album at some time, as you can see the oval shadow from the mount on the photo.
Now all you have to do is work out who it is!!
