Hi I'm new here and after looking a the work the people on this site do I can't help but hope someone can do something with this poster of two of my Black Sheep Ancestors.
This is the best scan I have of it.

Thanks in advance

Wow Gerry, that is such a treasure to have.  I am almost jealous  ;D ;D

Do you know if they were caught or what happened to them?

I love the description of James...."rather more slender than the other".  Did the police  presume they would be caught together so they could compare the two?  ;D ;D ;D

I hope there is something the restorers can do to help you clean up the poster.

You people do this for free? It has to be a labour of love.

For dollylee

James William Young (1852-1920) was given life in prison at the Kingston Pennetentiary, Ontario, Canada. I quess life doesn't mean until you die because he was released before his death.  John Young (1847-1876) was hung for the murder.
