Fred Jackson

Can anyone please tell me about Fred Jackson. He was born in 1904, he had a son names Keith, and was a publican in Sleaford Linconshire.  He had 2 sisters and 5 brothers.  I believe he was also a brick layer and sign writer, his wife died while he was running the pub.  His new partner Winifred Goodacre helped him run the pub, and his last place of work was Britsh Sugar Beet Corp.

Many thanks

Maggie

As a matter of interest, where did your GOODACREs come from?  An ancestor of mine married a widow, Sarah GOODACRE, in Boston in 1862.  Her children (all born Boston) were
Thomas 1836
Rebecca 1840
Mary Ann 1844
and William 1847 (her husband had died in 1844)
Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.

How strange, my mother was winifred goodacre, she had a older sister called margaret, and brothers lewis, william, walter, roy. I have recently lost my mother, but from a child went back to Boston regularly. I do not know very much about the whereabouts really only that the family had connections with Boston and the Lincolshire area. The only thing I do know for sure is that my grandparents, who sadly died before I was born, there names were William Goodacre and Sarah Nicholls. Is it possible that William Goodacre was the son of my grandfather William Goodacre.
