Hi all   am looking for the parents (connections)  of mary corneck who married william gibbs((allington(bridport) dorset)) circa  1790s 

I have from bishops transcripts       1/  Mary daughter  of  John  and  AnneCorneck baptised 29 sep 1776
                                                        2/  Mary Hawkins daughterof Sarah  Corneck  Baptised  04 jun 1775
                                                        3/ J ohn son  of Joseph & Mary & Frances  Corneck baptised  dec 1780

                                                         All these Marys seem to fit the bill   although it would seem that No 2/mother
                                                         was  eleven?!  when she gave birth
                                                         no 3/ was he a  bigamist (joeseph )

Hi forestfern,

Have you looked at www.dorset-opc.com?   There is a marriage between William Gibbs and Mary Corneck on 28 December 1791.  Also several Corneck baptisms 1759-1776 to John and Anne; also some to Silas and Mary Corneck.

Have you visited the Dorset History Centre in Dorchester to look at the records?
