Found Elizabeth it looks like she re-married in 1871 to Andrew Milburn who was living as a boarder in the same house in the 1871 census

Edward winthrop Hepple age 14 grandson.

AS SOMEONE ELSE SAID IT ALL SEEMS TO FIT.
still can't find where john and susannah were in 1881 census though.
