What regiment was this?
« on: Saturday 30 June 07 10:55 BST (UK) »
Hi
Could somebody please tell me what regiment this chap was in?
A time frame of 1925/36 has been suggested by Old Rowley.

Big cap badge that!  Looks like the Prince of Wales feathers but I can't be sure. Welsh Guards?  Someone more informed than me will tell you.

Of course they do, how silly of me. The very short peak on his hat confused me a bit.  Nice bulled boots though!

themonsstar,

The Royal Welsh Regiment could be right as the family has Welsh connections.

Thanks a lot, that's opened up another avenue of research.
