Anyone know if the current 'Morton Rifle Range' near Gainsborough is the same 'Morton Rifle Range' used during WW1?

Hi Wendy

A part of the AIF was in camp at Weymouth, they were then sent to Morton Rifle Range on the way to the front via Folkestone.  Just thought there may have been a more convenient range, hence the query.   ::)
