Margaret Duffy, County Down 1840's

I am looking for any information on Margaret Duffy born around 1826. She married John Cahill in Lisbon New York in 1849.

I checked out Ros Davies Co Down website with no success, however a Peter Duffy farmer in 1849 is building debts for the lease from the Annesley Estate ie Castlewellan areaand that might be agood enough reason to encourage the family to emmigrate. I cant get through to www.castlegarden.org this morning to see if Margaret listed as a passenger to New York, have you looked this up? Good luck, Jim

Thank you so much for checking. I haven't been able to find her on a passenger list. I know she was married in Lisbon, NY in 1848. I believe her fathers name was Edward. Any info is appreciated.

I got connected to castle garden, I didnt check for John Cahill but often emmigrating pairs met as passengers and fell in love etc. and by looking up the ship you can find who else travelled at the same time another relative  etc.  you will need to look them up yourself as I have taken out the ship name
