1901 Census...Help! COMPLETED
« on: Wednesday 04 July 07 23:28 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to trace William Delemore who would have been approx 11/12 yrs old on the 1901 Census. Unusual name but proving difficult to track down!

I know the family ended up in Pontypridd so am hoping they are already there to be on the 1901 records. Fathers name is possibly Thomas or also William.

Can anyone help????

Thanks!!  :D

Is this your chap?

1901 Barnstaple Devon
RG 13/2144 folio 56 page 13

6 Barbican Road
William Delemore, head, 34, railway engine driver, Chester Cheshire
Fanny, wife, 34, Chester Cheshire
William, son, 11, Chester Cheshire
Thomas G., son, 6, Birkenhead Lancashire
John S., son, 2, Exeter Devon
Leonard, son, 6mo, Exeter Devon

This family obviously moved around a bit, so "next stop Pontypridd" is not out of the question.
Census information is Crown Copyright, from www.nationalarchives.gov.uk

Yeah I'm sure that that's them, I can't believe you managed to find that when they weren't even in Pontypridd yet. Thank you SOOO much!
