Hi,

Could someone lookup please? Looking for details on Berenard Boyland born circa 1885 (probably Liverpool)
other siblings Peter? Francis? Parents were (I think???)
Patrick and Mary not 100% sure.
Anything on the family appreciated.

Bit of a long shot, but could this be Patrick in 1871:

RG10/818; Folio: 44; Page: 41
Aldershot barracks, 2nd battalion, 17th regiment

Patrick Boyland, soldier, unmarried, age 19 born Liverpool, Lancs

obviously the birthplace doesn't match, but he may have said he was born Liverpool to get in the army, or the question he was asked might have been "where are you from" rather than "where were you born".

East London & Suffolk: Guest, Scrutton
East London: Palfreman (prev Tyneside), Bissell, Collis, Dearlove, Ettridge

Yes this looks like him,so guessing,he married soon after the 1871 census?to a Mary Morrisey, because children appear as from about 1873.Maybe he came out of the Army or may have been posted out elsewhere?
