NRO Records
« on: Friday 06 July 07 07:56 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I have searched the National Archive and found a record number which I would like to access.  It is NRO 3680/182.  I assume the NRO stands for Northumberland Records Office but can someone please let me know how I go about obtaining information from the record. Does anyone know if this information can be ordered online as I live in Australia and cannot go into the office to do a physical search.

Regards

This record is indeed held by the Northumberland Record Office and it is most unlikely that any of it is accessible online.
I suggest you use the 'contact' facility on the webpage http://tinyurl.com/2rlzj3
to enquire about this in the first place.
Some lucky Rootschatters live within striking distance of Woodhorn, and if you had a very specific line of enquiry they might be able to help you.
Good luck
Jennifer
