Well thanks to your searching , I have people who lived and worked along that part of the High street, during 1861 and 1871. on my day off next week I will go back to the library and try to locate more photograph's of the shop's along there,
my quest is to be really familiar with that end of the street, I get quiet a few tourist call into the shop , who say " my ancestor's had a shop around here somewhere, " and I would love to be able to give them fact's figure's and meat on the bone sort of stuff, maybe I should just get a life

. talking of which, must go mow the grass, while the sunshine's. better half is out fishing and has forgot were the mower is kept
