CARTER 1891 Census

Hi:

I'm looking for Janetta B. CARTER b 1864 in Hartlepool, in 1891 abnd/or the 1901 census. She would be a widow, having married in 1883, but her husband died in 1888.

I realise she could have remarried, but her father in law leaves money to her children in his will in 1902, which I would have thought would not have happened if she had. 

Janetta can be spelt many ways, but usually gets shortened to Janet!

Interesting about the remarriage - I just supposed that Johnson Carter, father in law to Janetta, would not have left monies to the grandchildren if she had remarried.  However they were his grandchildren, and Janetta herself wasn't left anything.
