Hi Claire,

I have the marriages from 1538 to 1812. It is not indexed so do you have any idea of the dates you are looking for.

Hi Carolyn,

Thank you very much for responding. I have had a look at FHO but they do not appear t have records for Samford Hundred and Cosford. Nothing comes up on the search for birth of Elizabeth Hearsum (Hearsham), or indeed any Hearsums at all! Thanks anyway I appreciate the help.

Hi Claire,

I'm looking for the parents of:
George Barton 1793 Layham
Elizabth Hearsum 1797 East Bergholt

This thread has been split and there is now another thread in the Suffolk section, so I will continue this there.

Thank you very much for responding

Don't forget that Samford Hundred and Cosford Hundred are two completely different areas.

27 parishes in Cosford (many records available at www.cosford-database.co.uk)

28 parishes in Samford Hundred.

Pat ...
Every time I find an ancestor,
I have to find two more!
