Roberts birth lookup - COMPLETED

Hello,

I am looking for 2 sisters please - Catherine Roberts and Sarah Roberts.  They were born in St Donats to parents William and Mary sometime before 1848 but after 1828 I think.  Both were baptised with a number of siblings in 1848 but I think they would have been teenagers by then or almost.  They may well be on the 1841 census for St Donats.  I would like to find out their dates of birth.

Hi Claire,

I think I have found the family you are looking for on the 1841 census. However, it is notoriously unreliable for birth dates.

It has Catherine listed as 1834 and Sarah as 1832.

Those dates fit in with the other siblings I have found already.  I wish I knew why 6 of them were christened at the same time with the youngest being 6 years old!  It seems strange as the eldest (so far) was christened not long after birth.  Don't know if this was a common occurance or not..
