Missing Lincks
« on: Thursday 12 July 07 03:01 BST (UK) »
To be able to add my husbands mother's side to my family tree, I need to find if the info I have from other family trees are correct.

I have David Purvess, born 1640 Ingelby Greenhow, North Yorkshire.

Who was his wife? I have a son for him a George Purvess, born c1680 Great Smeaton.

He married Abigail Ingram, there son William Purvess born 1734 Great Smeaton, married a Margaret Dunn, in Barton St Mary, North Yorkshire.

There son George Purvess 1764 born Barton, baptized St Cuthbert's married Ann Espiner in Bedale in 1792, he Died Firby 1805.

I have two children for them Mary, born 1797 in Firby, and Joseph c 1804 but no birth place for Joseph Purvess, he married Mary Warriner, and I have one child for them Henry Purvess, born 1836 Kirklington North Yorkshire.

All this info is from other family members tree's, but I am not sure they have the line correct, can anyone help?

So to confirm the line, it's David Purvess c 1640 his wife ? and was his son George c1680 could be more children.

And where was Joseph Purvess c 1804 born, and his wife Mary Warriner c 1804 ?
