LOMAX- Tottington,Bolton
« on: Saturday 14 July 07 12:46 BST (UK) »
Is there anyone researching the Lomax surname in the Bolton area? The earliest ancestor I have traced was an Esther Lomax born approx. 1783-5 Tottington. She married James Allen in Nov. 1804.
Many thanks, Margaret

Sorry to confuse you, yes the Tottington is the one near Bury-I had always assumed it was in the Bolton district!
