ROFL - then we don't really know how the honeymoon went  :-X ;D ;D

Any idea when his dad Thomas was born? I can't see a Thomas/Louisa couple in 1841 ...  :(

Farrington in 1881 (unmarried):
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=uki1881&indiv=try&h=25713498

In 1871 he's at Whiston, Yorkshire and in 1861 at Southwark St Saviour.

Can't see him on other census  :(

Louisa is visiting at Camberwell St Giles Dulwich in 1871:
RG10/721 77 36
Louisa Lane, visitor, unm, 64, b. Lambeth Surrey
in the household of Charles C? Gowan, 38, Member of Stock Exchange, b. Dulwich

i thought he may have been married in the 1861 census, but you answered that, now i am curious as to where he was on the 1841 census? could he have been with his mother and father? thomas and louisa?
