Immigration to Cardiff
« on: Tuesday 17 July 07 07:58 BST (UK) »
Hi, Am trying to find out the name of my grandfather's brother who emigrated to Cardiff from Co Durham in 1880s. George Bravey , a marine engineer settled in Grangetown, where Charles, my father was born.  I do not know name of other brother nor where he settled, but there appears to be another Bravey family in South Wales.

Many thanks Osprey for info on John George Bravey -  I did not have his name as a brother -andson of my great grandfather George Bravey and his wife Mary Robinson. as other siblings are shown as born/baptised at Bishopwearmouth .  Perhaps he is a cousin of George Bravey jnr.
