Look up marriage cert.

I am searching for a marriage cert  for coleman/fitzgerald in battersea london in 1935 /1940 she was R/C not sure about the gentelman  she was from Ireland  sorry not much to go on  .

Dont think this fits the bill but there is this on the free bmd

Checked complete index's from 1935 - 1940 inclusive none found.

many thanks for your reply  but the ladys was margaret fitzgerald the gentleman was john coleman sorry about the mixuo in names.

That did not matter,

 I just looked at any Coleman to Fitzgerald/ Fitzgerald to Coleman, as all spouses are listed on the later indexs and I could not find any.

Coleman is the 200th most common name in England and Wales, as well as being an Irish name.

thank you for that information re/ coleman I  will extend my search in the hope of obtaining a marriage cert.
