Please see my message below - can going on to Broad band cause normally accessible sites to be blocked?
Urgent need of advice, please

No.

If you check Tools >> Internet Options >> Security

Then if you look in Restricted Sites, those are the only ones that you should not have access to but you would have had to add them manually so you would know about them.

Try deleteing your browsing cache via Tools.
Try deleting your GR cookie in C:\Documents and Setting\Your Name\Cookies.

If you are having difficulty displaying a family tree on GR then this may be a Adobe Macromedia Flash related problem.  There were a lot of problems when GR changed its Family Tree Builder program several months ago and these were related to Macromedia Flash runtime errors.

Thanks for that.  Although you have frightened me to death!

I hate getting involved in the innards of this machine as I usually manage to muck things up.

I'm going to England tomorrow and have decided to leave it as it is until I get back.  Thanks for your advice and possible future help?

Hopefully I'll have a week away and will come back a lot braver!
Thanks again, Abiam
