Looking for Elizabeth (Bardy) on 1901 census.  There is a marriage on freebmd in 1895 in York to either William Sharp or Thomas William Parker.  Could some kind soul please check 1901 census to see if there is an Elizabeth Sharp or Parker.  She was born in York in 1874.  On 1881 census she was a scholar aged 6 living at home - she was not at home on 1891.

If there is a likely candidate on 1901 census would appreciate details.

With many thanks.

Zephyr

Hi Zephyr

There is an Elizabeth A PARKER and husband Thomas W PARKER in 1901.  She is aged 27, but birthplace is given as Sheffield, not York.

They have children Florence E aged 4, Hannah aged 3 and Sarah E aged 1.

Could not find an Elizabeth SHARP with husband William.  Only Elizabeth SHARP had husband Henry, and she was born 1874 in York

Hi Suz and Karenlee

Thank you both for your trouble - especially as I can't even get the spelling right!! :-[

With many thanks to you both - will now be able to do a little more research on the family.

With best wishes.
