1841 lookup - HOWES

Seeking info on John Puxley HOWES. Born abt 1816 in either Folkestone, Kent or Goring, Oxford. In later census his occupation was a watchmaker

I found the following baptisms in the Goring PRs - John's baptism is a couple of years later than you said, but I think this might be the family:

Dec 15 1811 Eliza House d/o William & Martha
July 3 1814 William Howse s/o William, lab & Martha of Gatehampton
Dec 12 1819 John House & Mary House , children of "     "
Apr 21 1822 Ann House d/o                                       "     "
July 4 Harriett House d/o                                            "     "

 BATHSHEBA BOOTHROYD bn c. 1802 W. Yorks.

Baptism nowhere to be found. Possibly in a nonconformist church near ALMONDBURY or HUDDERSFIELD.
