1841 Nathan Day Look Up Request

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me find my Great x 4 Grandfather on the 1841 census. He was born in Liverpool circa 1825. On the 1851 census he is registered as being married to Sarah Day [nee Redfern] with one child aged 11mnths, named David. At the time of the census he was living and working as a labourer in Manchester.

However, I cannot find any record of him on the previous 1841 census when he would of been aged around 16yrs old. Can anyone manage to locate him or possibly come up with any reasons why he wouldn't be on the census?
